CME Programs

Atlantic Orthopaedic Specialists recognize that musculoskeletal problems are one of the most common conditions seen by you the primary care practitioner. We realize that it is difficult to stay current on all new treatments and advances taking place within the field of orthopaedics. The changing face of medicine has placed limitations on the amount of time physicians get to interact with one another and to discuss issues related to the delivery of appropriate medical care for our patients.

In order to address these needs, AOS has partnered with EVMS in designing a series of orthopaedic CME programs tailored for primary care physicians, PA’s, NP’s, and other healthcare professionals. These programs provide a broad overview of the most common orthopaedic disorders seen in the primary care setting. A special emphasis is placed on each condition’s differential diagnosis, management & treatment. Pearls that are gained from these informative programs may then be directly applied to one’s individual practice needs.

Our CME conferences include question and answer sessions, panel discussions, case study presentations and ample break time for direct interaction with our program faculty. At each programs conclusion, attendees should have a working knowledge on when to refer specific patients to an orthopaedic specialist.
